Prom is just around the corner and people are asking away for the special date for the night. Around BA, people are going around giving gifts, making posters, asking for help from friends to ask. Some people put hard work while others can still make simple promposals the cutest ever.

 

 

 

Alexis Trejo 12, asked his girlfriend Diana Nava 11, to prom. The whole concept of the promposal was an Easter egg hunt, whoever found the most eggs would receive a prize. Diana won and her prize was a pair of Nike free runs 3.0, inside was a message saying “A princess tiara is always shinning so I got you some shoes to match, if the shoe fits will you be my princess to prom?”. Her reaction was a yes with of course tears of joy.

 

 

 

Stanley Hernandez 12, to Natalie Solorio 11, although his girlfriend doesn’t come to BA that still didn’t stop him to ask her to his prom. The way was Stanley bought a big soccer goal and two soccer balls which represented her answer. He set up the goal and stood in front with a poster saying “We dance on the field with a ball, how about we dance together at prom?”. By her kicking one soccer ball it was a no but with both soccer balls to get kicked in it was a yes, and she made both goals.

 

 

 

Jackelyn Cazares 12, asked guy friend Christopher G 11, she filled his whole car with sticky notes saying “Prom?”. It took her an hour and a half to write on every single sticky note by herself, while it took 45 minutes with the help of her friend Naila Rolpes 12, to stick them all around Christopher’s car, “I got to put sticky notes on a person’s car that was too fun”. His answer was yes, he said “Like did you really put sticky notes all over my car?”.

 

 

 

Damon Contreras 12, to his girlfriend Alexis Tovar 11, he couldn’t really ask Alexis to prom while face to face since he had to go to work. He managed to drop the surprise at her house and asked her brother to give it to her and to also record her reaction. He made a big poster saying “Prom.. Yes or ?” with a big bear, chocolates, and roses. She of course she said yes while crying.

 

 

 

Romello Phillips 12, asked Julyana Saavedra 12, the point of the promposal was a scavenger hunt. He left notes in 4 of her classes although she didn’t know it was Romello. “She didn’t know I was at school, she probably thought it was anyone or that I was died” said Romello. After Julyana received all the notes, he was able to get her friend to take her to the courtyard where the gazebo is located. The choir girls’ helped out also, but there was a little delay before she can go outside since the girls’ weren’t prepared. Yet when things were finally ready, she was surprise to see that it was Romello standing in front of the gazebo with a poster saying “Will you be my beautiful date to prom?”, along with flowers and a basket of junk food goodies.

 

 

 

Giovanni Barrio 12, to Nereyda Fernandez 12, these girls really didn’t feel like going to prom with their boyfriends so they decided to go with each other. The girls actually planned to give each other a promposal, Giovanni did her promposal over a weekend by taking it to Nereyda’s house. It was a small fish bowl with the saying “Out of all the fish in the sea, will you go to prom with me?, it had a little blue fish, Nereyda said yes and extremely happy that she got a fish. “It’s boy and I’m letting you name him, don’t kill him!” said Giovanni.

 

 

Leoveny Hernandez 12, to Evelyn Perez 12, Leo wanted to do it big, he asked her during the final night for spring show. The Belles were between dances and were getting ready for their Hip Hop set but before the curtains were pulled aside. They called out Evelyn but they had to call her twice since she was backstage getting ready and not paying attention to the call, so people had to get her to let her know she was called. She walked out in front of a full auditorium crowd “I was very confused because I was wondering what was going on, but when I saw the surprise, I was like yay.” Said Evelyn sarcastically. Yet she had to wait about 5 minutes just for the guys to get the things out from the locked cage backstage. By the time they got it out Evelyn was still waiting, wondering what was going on. When she finally saw Saul Guerrero walk out carrying a poster saying “Prom?”, she immediately knew who it was from, Leo then walked out himself carrying flowers for her.  She said yes and the two are now just waiting on the night to arrive.

 

 

Jose Vazquez 12, asked, Joselyn Romero 12, the way he asked her was like a scavenger hunt. He left little clues through her classes, spelling out the words prom. He left clues like a peanut butter sandwich for “P”, a tiger stuffed animal standing for the “R” for roar, and a box of ferrero rocher chocolates for the “M”. But the “O” was missing until he left her a flower was the “O” standing “O and I forgot to ask you to prom”, she of course said yes. “I was so surprise and speechless” said Joselyn.
