Netflix is bringing a Gilmore Girls revival

Gilmore Girls is a TV series about the lives of a single mother and her daughter that live in Stars Hollow, Connecticut and the unique bond that they share.

 

Although the show aired its 7th and final season nearly a decade ago, it’s still popular to this day. It’s one of the few shows that truly captures your whole attention. If you blink once, then you’ll miss so much. With the beloved show’s lasting audience, it’s no surprise as to why there’s going to be a reboot of this show.

 

Gilmore Girls will return with its 4-episode eighth season on Netflix this November 25th, after nearly 10 years off the air. This follow-up series is called Gilmore Girls: A Year in the Life. It will continue the witty banter, pop culture references, coffee obsessed Gilmore’s, Friday night dinners, as well as, ex-boyfriend drama. Most of the original cast will be returning, with the exception of Edward Hermann, who died on the last day of 2014.

 

I’ve discovered Gilmore Girls on Netflix and binge-watched the entire series and loved every minute of it so I consider myself a huge fan of the show. The last season left me with many unanswered questions and now hopefully some of them will be answered. I am excited to see what season eight brings.
