A message from Osvaldo Lara

As president of the Junior Class of 2014 my job is to make this year, our senior year, an unforgettable, fun and amazing experience.

I’m not only your class leader but I am also your friend. As such let me offer some friendly advice.

This year we have to focus, always pay attention in class and take care of business. I would hope that everyone in our class graduates so that we can accomplish an outstanding graduation rate. Let’s not let “senioritis” get to us. Don’t get too confident this early simply because we’re leaders. Just because you’re an upperclassmen doesn’t mean that you are automatically graduating. We actually have to work for it. We still have credits to earn and STAAR tests to pass. Be tenacious.

I believe we should motivate the under classmen to show more spirit. We cannot have a school with a bunch of kids not having pride in their school. I’m surprised sometimes at the amount of school spirit that’s shown at athletic events from people outside our school. As full grown Cougars we are the leaders of the school so therefore we should motivate the young cubs to be involved in BA clubs, sports or other organizations.

We should cherish every moment of our last year at Bryan Adams. This is a once in a lifetime experience and we won’t be able to go back. Right now at this very moment we may not feel as if we’re seniors but it will hit us by the time we are about to graduate.

I believe that our class will be truly phenomenal. We are a family and we are ready to make long lasting memories. I believe the Class of 2015 will be the best class of the century. Let’s be energetic, hard working and really have pride in our school.

Class of 2015 we can and will succeed. Let’s all just remember this quote from Bill Cosby:“In order to succeed, your desire for success should be greater than your fear for failure”.

GO COUGARS! GO CLASS OF 2015!
