Youtuber Bethany Mota finds fame at young age

YouTube has helped many people around the world discover new talent with videos by Justine Bebier, Michelle Phan, BuzzFeed and others. A new YouTuber sensation who stands out is Bethany Mota. She has gained massive fame. Many know her from her Haul videos, which feature shopping sprees, makeup tutorials, DIYs (do it yourself) and many other creative projects. At 19 she has over 7,000,000 subscribers to her YouTube channel.

 

It started with her first video, in July of 2009, with a Haul based on Mac and Sephora, a cosmetic company. Since then she started making YouTube videos. Early in her career YouTube asked her to promote products and collaborate with other popular YouTube channels, such as  AwesomeTV.  She now works with her “glam squad”, a group of girls that give advice on makeup and fashion. The squad does makeovers for girls who submit a video request. This has promoted her fame and allowed her to reach many more people.

 

She became very popular and her clothing line was possible because of it. In November 2013 she collaborated with Aeropostale to create her own clothing line. Reaching her viewers and promoting it through a tour around the US, she stayed connected with her many fans and even offered special prices.

 

Not only has she been recognized by Aeropastale, Youtube and her fans but for the first time in Dancing with the Stars a Youtube celebrity is in the competition.

 

On a recent Monday during the Kidd Kraddick morning radio show she debut a new song. Hours later she posted it on Youtube for all her loyal fans to hear.

 

Even though she started for her own amusement, Bethany Mota now has supporters from all over the world, becoming a role model for the youth of today.
