Friday, April 3, 2015 was an exciting day for six promising B.A. Belles. Leslie Martinez, Cecilia Hernandez, Evalynn Perez, Joselyn Romero, Samantha Morales, and Camile Morgan tried out for the Cardettes dance team at Trinity Valley Community College. The girls first had to fill out an application to attend the college and get accepted before applying for Cardettes. After being excepted the girl had to send their high school transcript, one letter of recommendation from there dance director, one letter of recommendation from a teacher, and at $20 application fee to be considered for auditioning. The auditioning process was broken into 7 different sections. The day began at 12 PM which the consisted of the dancers getting weighed and fitted for their dance attire; this lasted until 12:30 PM. From 12:30 – 3:30 PM, the hopefuls were taught the new dance combo that they would replicate in the final auditioning process. After learning the dance, the girls had a hour and thirty minutes to eat, change, and take a break. At 5:00 PM the girl were assigned there audition groups. These groups consisted of two girls, who were chosen to work together at random. Each group performed there dance in front of the judges, this dance was about 30 seconds. They then where individually asked questions about their future in dance. After each group performed they where able to go home and where instructed to check for results via Facebook or the Trinity Valley college website on April 10, 2015. Leslie Martinez, Cecilia Hernandez, Samantha Morales, and Camile Morgan made the 55th line for the Trinity Valley Cardettes.
