Bring It On

The BA cheerleaders competed at SSAP Cheer N More Regionals in Kennedy middle school. The event started at noon and ended at 6. There were many categories like cheer, dance and stomp. The cheerleaders competed against high schools but there was also elementary and middle school there.

There were categorizes where they performed as an individual like jumps, cheer, and dance. Two of our cheerleaders placed in the jumps, Justin Alexsander won 1st place and Latavia Sharper won 2nd, also placed in 1st in individual cheer and dance. Overall the team won first place for their routine. They performed a combination for a cheer-hip hop dance to a hip hop mix.

“It was an amazing and unforgettable experience to be able to take home a 1st place trophy for my first year “said Najullah Nurridin 12.

They had two weeks to perfect their routine. Every day they would come before school to practice till 7:30 and after school till 6 by the softball field.

” I was surprised because we only had two weeks to get it perfect and we won first place “said Diana Nava 11.
