Sophomore Elijah Robles is unique in his own way. To most he may seem conceited but he is a very humble and sweet person. He catches your attention when he walks into a room with his cheerful positive attitude. He’s easy to get along with, it’s almost impossible not to be his friend.
“I found him at the skating rink and he took me around by holding my hand so I wouldn’t fall, it was then when I notice his hands were so soft like a babies butt” said Senior Joselyn Romero.
Every teen has a person to look up to and he looks up to his mom. Elijah greatly appreciates everything his mom does for him on a daily basis just for him to live a good healthy life
“My mom is my hero because she will work her butt of just to make me happy.”
Many people he has several nicknames that are significant to them. As a freshman he was called “Fishy” by Joselyn Romero 12. Another name is “Eli” because some people can’t pronounce his name or spell it correctly. He also has “LyLy” a name his nephew gave him when he was younger.
“My nephew couldn’t pronounce Elijah or Eli when he was younger so he ended up calling me LyLy.”
Like most teenagers, he has his favorite hangout spots, restaurants and busy Friday nights. His favorite hangout spots are White Rock Skating Rink and North Park mall. On his Friday nights you can most likely find him at parties with his brother in law, playing video games, studying and doing his homework or relaxing at home just watching TV with friends. He also loves eating at P.F. Changs, Gonzales (a Mexican restaurant) and Chipotle.
Besides playing video games and going out to eat, he likes to be productive and spend some time outside. You can usually find him playing soccer at a park and his front or backyard.
Everyone has pet peeves but Elijah hates it when people have bad grammar, not being taller than what he wants to be and he absolutely hates it when people assume he’s anything other than Mexican because he can’t speak Spanish.
Elijah believes that he’s different from everyone else because he’s the most honest, and trustworthy person he thinks he can be.
