Falling for style

Cougars look forward to warm wear for cool season

Everyone is looking forward to the change in the season, the cooler weather and wearing trendy fall fashions. This year the dominate style will be big sweaters, leggings, knitted high socks and, of course, combat boots. Unfortunately, wearing sweaters is limited by recent changes in the BA dress code. This year it’s only basic colors such as green, black and white. This doesn’t stop the Cougars from wearing the style at football games or even hanging out with friends on cool breezy nights.

Big cozy sweaters are the answer to girls and guys prayers. Comfort is one of the biggest things that’s in right now.

Junior Griselda Hernandez is a typical example of the BA fashionista, always staying in style and looking her best.

“Oversized sweaters and combat boots are really popular right now and they’re comfortable and very cute. Plus, who doesn’t want to be both? Am I right? Of course I’m right,” she said.

Guys also feel the same way about the sweaters being the comfortable thing to wear.

“I will be mainly wearing H&M sweaters, I just like the way the sweaters fit and look on me,” said senior Brandon Santana.

“Knit and retro socks are a big accessory as well for many guys,” said Abramn Rodriguez, 12.

The season of fall is full of fun activities with friends and family. Teens always want to look their best at the mall, football games or just hanging out with friends.

“Imagine going to a football game and the weather is really chilly… you will need a good latte to warm you up and your nails are all done and stuff, that is so cute,” said Angie Ibarra, 9.
