On Thursday, January 21 BA held its second Open House of the year. Parents, members of the community and especially 8th graders from Hill and Gaston were invited to see what BA has accomplished since the beginning of the year. The event served as a showcase for BA’s academic programs, sports teams, clubs and fine arts programs.

The program began with the JROTC presenting the colors followed by an introduction by the officers of the class 2016. Members of the Theater Department performed a skit to show the BA way and how leadership skills prepare students for interviews.

Belle officers took the stage to talk about what it takes to be a Belle. Belles perform during halftime at football games, compete at regional contests and perform at the annual Spring Show. Then the officers preformed a jazz dance, "Fitzpleasure" by, one of the routines the Belles are taking to contest.

The Cheerleaders took the stage next and preformed a cheer along with a dance to pump up the crowd. The Gaston Middle School dance team preformed a modern piece that left everyone surprised at their level of skill and dedication.

The BA freshman dance team the Kellies performed a pom dance choreographed by Ms. Anguiano.

After the assembly was over the crowd moved to the hallways. All the groups, clubs and organizations at BA were on display for the visitors. Sponsors, teachers and coaches were at their tables to provide information and promote their particular group. Students and parents were able sign up with their intentions and commitments for next school year.

"It was another great success," siad Mr. Kastl. "I was really proud of our students and staff in their dedication to Bryan Adams and its community".
