Select students from BA's Tech Theater and Theater club’s traveled to New York City during spring break. The main and best part about the journey was the opportunity to watch some world famous Broadway plays as an informational trip.

These BA and Brownsboro HS students traveled to NYC to be informed about the amazing things going on in Broadway in deep detail. The students had a glimpse into what a huge and complex production actually looks like and knowledge that can be taken back to here.  The students also experienced some really amazing other places such as The Empire State Building, Grand Central Terminal, 5th Ave., Apollo, and Radiocity. While in New York students also took the time to pay their respects at the 9/11 memorial.

About 21 students went including some Brownsboro students, and about 3 teachers. Ms. Irvine, Mrs. Malmberg, and a Brownsboro teacher. The trip lasted about 5 days from Noon Sunday till Thursday night. While they were there they visited Broadway, and the 9/11 memorial.  Some famous people they met were Mr. Billy Apollo, and a member of the Rockets. Brandon Munselle 11th said “The streets filled with taxis and Business trucks, and sidewalks weren’t as bad just depending on the time of day.” Of course New York isnt a perfect city so some students had opinions that couldn't be kept. Stefan Rudeloff 11th said, “Dirty city, but the stench wasn’t that bad.” Caleb Trevino said, “City was noisy hens being called “The City That Never Sleeps”. However, everyone agrees that the trip was worth it, something to always remember about BA
