Lady Cougar Volleyball

Dec. 13

The Lady Cougars played in the Chris Bosh Hoopfest this

past weekend. They played against cross town rival Lincoln

Tigers. It was a close game but, BA took the win 57-52.

Fabrianna Dixon led The Cougars again in scoring with a

dominant performance. She had 23 points. Dixon was help

by Jerice Fears with 14 points. It was a close game for the

first 2 quarters but BA took control in the 3rd quarter

scoring a 16 points to 9 which is what separated them from

the tigers.

 

The Ladies will be back in action on Friday VS Conrad High

School in a District Game.

 

Dec. 9

The next game for the Lady Cougars was on December 9,

2014 against Newman Smith Trojans in the 11-5A District

opener. The 74 – 50 Win. In a fast paced game the Lady

Cougars looked for their center Fabrianna Dixon who tied

with Jerice Fears for 19 points. The cougars came out of

half time with to much fire power as they scored 20 points in the 3rd quarter. The next game for the lady cougars is against the Lincoln Tigers on December 13 this Saturday in a non district game.

 

Dec. 5

The Lady Cougars Basketball team faced the Duncanville Panthers at Duncanville in a big-time showdown between two great teams. BA ended up with a heart breaker, losing by 5, 60-55. BA Center Fabrianna Dixon led all scorers with 23 points. Fabrianna got a lot help from BA’s 3 Point shooter Dabrasia Baty with 17 points. Everyone scored for the Panthers. The Cougar starters played almost the whole game. All five starters scored in the game.
